*** GENERAL TIPS AND TRICKS ***

   - Prioritize to upgrade Giacomo skill first before upgrading other heroes, because at every mission, he always came from the beginning and it's FREE. Imagine his Free Research Point and also his free Clockwork Men armies at every beginning of missions
   - After all Giacomo skill has been level up, the second priority to level up is Venza. Because of her flying ability, cheap cost for summoning her and her ability to summon Gun Drones and Siege Zeppelin. If you can maximize her skill, she can summon more than 10 Gun Drones at the same time and also 2 Siege Zeppelin !
   - The third priority to level up is General Battaglion. Because of his devastating siege attack. With his skill, he can blow up most enemy buildings with 1 Siege Blast skill
   - I don't recommended for leveling Carlini, because at a certain mission, he will died for defending Giacomo from enemy attack
   - I also don't recommended for leveling Lenora, because you can't recruit her during 2nd Campaign. But, i'm very fascinated for her Cluster Bomb skill. It's an area attack and had a very devastating damage. Unfortunately, you can use that skill only at the 3rd Campaign. Also i like her shameless piracy skill, which can control any small and medium enemy units
   - You may want to spend your Hero Experience Point, Army Point and Wealth Point before taking on each new mission. You can always retire units when you get research newer more powerful units, but off course, the selling point you got would be 50% less than when you buy it.
   - At the very beginning of the missions, press P (Pause) key, so you have enough time to deploy your strategies, such as grouping your units, move your units, build districs, etc
   - If your heroes dies, you can summon them again but it gonna cost you some Timmonium and Wealth
   - Sometimes at certain missions, you can get some Powers (such as Emergency Supplies, Treachery, etc). All this power has limited use, but you can use at other missions within the same Campaign
   - To capture the enemy cities, you must reduce it's health to zero. Then you must have military superiority in the immediate area. You can use your soldiers to speed up the city health down to zero, but it gonna damaging your soldiers
   - My favorite keyboard shortcuts:
      1. Alt : Show all health (include enemies and neutral)
      2. A : Attack Move
      3. X : Auto Explore
      4. Shift - X : Halt
      5. Ctrl-Alt + Right Click : Siege Attack
      6. Ctrl + Right Click : Trample Move
      7. ' : Locating your scouts
      8. Alt + Right Click : Faster Attack Move (Mob)

*** 2.0 CAMPAIGN 1: VENGEANCE ***


2.1 Strategic Map

Below are the starting values of each section of the map. Your path is linear until you finish mission 3, Pirata Aerodrome, then you can make your own way around the map and choose what missions to take on. Each location on the map has a unique mission. Once the unique mission has been complete you take control of that location. If you lose a location you can take it back but you won't have to do the unique mission again. You will instead have to complete a generic, Destroy All Enemy Cities mission type. These will only yield experience points for you heroes.

Below are the starting values and bonuses each location gives. Values for City's Strength will be up or down during the game (9 is Strongest, while 1 is Weakest)

These are the order of my Army Points Purchases:

Building Cities

When you take a location you can use wealth to build up the cities in these locations in the same way you do in a mission.

Military District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Awards 1 army point after construction.
   - Defends against enemy attacks.
   - Each district controlled increases the starting population limit during scenarios.
   - Military districts send imperial musketeers as reinforcements to adjacent scenarios.

Industrial District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Awards 1 invention the turn after construction.
   - Industrial districts send clockwork men as reinforcements to adjacent scenarios.

Merchant District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Generates 1 wealth per turn.
   - Merchant districts send reinforcement caravans full of wealth to adjacent scenarios.

Palace District (cost 6 wealth)
   - Upgrade to a large city
   - Generates 1 point of wealth, invention and army per turn
   - 3 non palace districts are required for each palace district

The price of districts increases by 1 for each district that already exists so to create a palace district will cost you (1+2+3) 6 for the districts and 6 for the palace, 12 in total. Additional palace district costs 10 points. Districts under attack from enemy generals cost more to place so beware.

You only need to build military districts on the edge of you territory where the enemy is most likely to attack. One military district will hold off an attacking army for one turn so work out if you can save a location before moving. You only have 1 free move and 1 attack per turn so watch where the enemy moves and plan your attacks and defence accordingly.

Industrial units are useful because the points provided help you research new troops and also upgrades troops to use in battle.

One point of note is losing a battle against the enemy isn't always a bad thing because you get the income from your resources in the city. When you play the later campaigns, especially the final one, this will come in very handy because the missions at the start are very difficult until you have researched extra soldiers and advances.


Campaign Goals

If you can take Feligno (Don Scloria Capital) or Wasteland (Lord Rocco Capital) you will remove that general from the map. The quicker you can achieve this the better, you can then concentrate on the Doge and defending your lands should be easier. But, if you defeat enemies Hero not within their Capital, they just retreat to their available teritories

2.3 Mission Guide

After the 3rd mission, you are free to choose where you want to go. Your ultimate aim is to capture the Doges capital in Venucci. Your immediate aim is to remove his two supporting generals. You want to choose one of the capitals and head for it. Beware, the capitals are extremely difficult missions. The mission section offers notes on the quests and what you need to do to trigger or complete them.

I'm sorry because the missions order for Vengeance Campaign that i list here, doesn't reflect my original journey within this campaign.

During missions, you have a chance to upgrade your technology using invention point for current missions only. Here's the list of available technology you can achieve:

Some general advice on this campaign:

   - First, build Merchant district to gather wealth. Then build Military district to strengthen your city and raise your population cap. Then concentrate to build Factory district to gain invention point, where at some level, your building can auto repair and also you can get a free Juggernaut
   - Build Bunker Fort and Steam Fortress near enemy cities to block them up
   - The smelter research is a great way to get a constant supply of free soldiers (Clockwork Armies).
   - When you have a big starting army you can sometimes rush the enemy and win scenarios much easier.
   - Do the side quests first before finishing the main quest, so you will got bonus or reinforcements
   - At Destroy All Enemy Cities mission type, if there's enemy heroes, especially the Dogde, you can try hit and run tactics. They will bring all of their forces to conquer another city. While their gone, you can attack their Main City to lure them back to their main city. Then you can bring your other main forces to attack their other cities. Use your air units to attack their main city, because you can easily escape with it, rather than using your ground units. During that, always build and upgrade and you'll win the fight (use pause key before issuing any commands, it will help you greatly to win the battle).


Mission 1 - The Venazzi Expedition

Main Quests:
1) Head to the mine (+1 Hero Experience)
2) Avenge Petruzzo (+1 Hero Experience)

Side Quests: None

This level is linear so follow the steps below:
   - From the starting position kill the 3 enemy venucci conscripts.
   - Follow the path and kill the 3 enemy conscripts and spider.
   - At the second marker kill 4 venucci conscripts and spider, you will get 4 clockwork men to help.
   - Watch Cutscene, main quest 1 completed.
   - Destroy gate on bridge and cross.
   - Kill 6 vennuci conscripts and 2 Doge walkers.
   - Destroy the barracks to complete quest 2.
   - Watch closing cutscene

Notes:
   - You donít get any more enemies on this map than are listed above so you can take your time healing and sniping with your heroes.
   - Putting your heroes in front of your armies, because they can self heal and also have high endurance and Health Point


Mission 2 - Padonia's Folly

Main Quests:
1) Giacomo's Walker
2) Defeat Marwan (+1 Hero Experience)

Side Quests:
1) Relics (Free 3 Clockwork Spiders)
2) Condottieri Outpost

This level you need to defeat the enemy in the east of the map. You can play through the tutorial if you want otherwise just crack on with the game. The best strategy here is to hold at the start and build the base and your forces then attack in numbers. You'll find it hard to lose this level.

Main Quest 1
The walker is situated by the first marker on the map and is guarded by a gun tower and a few enemies. Destroy the glass shards holding it and watch a cutscene where Venza, another hero, will join you.

Main Quest 2
Marwan is in the far corner of the map, simply build up enough troops and assault him.

Side Quest 1
There are 10 relics scattered around the map to collect for small Timonium boosts. If you manage to do this side quest, you can get free 3 Clockwork Spiders for you to use at this mission only

Side Quest 2
In the northeast corner of the map is the outpost. Simply buy, trade or fight it to take control. After that, you can hire 3 type of Condottieri armies from this outpost, such as Condottieri Dragoon (Horsemen with range attack)

Notes:
* Relics give you small Timonium boosts
* Attacking glass shards releases trapped soldiers
* The smelter research allows you to train an unlimited amount of clockwork men and is useful when building a defensive at the start of the level.


Mission 3 - Battle For Pirata

Main Quests:
1) Find Lenora
2) Deal With Lenora
3) Destroy Sky Cruiser (+1 Hero Experience)

Side Quests:
1) Establish A Base
2) Unite Neutrals (+1 Hero Experience)
3) Make Alliance (+1 Hero Experience)

After the help from Venza in the last mission you now have to help free Pirata from the Doge.

This mission requires you to destroy the Doge's Sky cruiser in the north east of the map. You can play the tutorial as part of this map, this is the last map you have the option of showing hints. You need to basically establish a base across the ravine and use that to build a force large enough to destroy the sky cruiser.

Main Quest 1
Lenora is found on the other side of the broken bridge. You need to use a cargo dirigible to cross the ravine.

Main Quest 2
You need to use Giacomo's augmentation skill to heal her. Then Lenora will join you as your new hero. You also get the plans for the aerodrome building, so from now on you can build the Aerodrome building.

Main Quest 3
The Doge's base is in the northeast corner, capture it to win this mission.

Side Quest 1
You need to create the following to complete this quest:
   - Telescope
   - Research Mining 1
   - Create 3 clockwork men
   - Create 2 steam cannons

Side Quest 2
There is an Inn, A mine and an outpost in the east of the map. Trade or capture them to complete this quest.

Side Quest 3
Just south west of the place you find Lenora, you will find an aerodrome. Use the diplomacy option and send 300 wealth and 300 Timonium to complete the quest. Once completed your new ally will send a constant stream of pirata fighters to attack the sky cruiser.

Notes:
   - The Doge will try to cross the bridge to attack your new base so it best for you to place all your defensive building and concentrate your armies at the land where all the bridges met
   - The Doge will send cargo dirigible full of troops to attack both your cities so remember to defend both, although his main attack will be on your newer city.
   - To defend from a dirigible build some defensive air units, gun turrets and steam factories.


Vernazza - Mine Again

Main Quests:
1) Establish A Base
2) Collect Timonium

Side Quests:
1) Mining Companies (+1 Hero Experience)

This is a resource management mission. The aim is to maximise your Timonium production with a limited time

Main Quest 1
Before you take the city, use your scout to gather relics from accross the map. But, if you don't have scout, then just take it

Main Quest 2
You need to collect 2000 Timonium in a limited time period. This will be tight but if you manage your resources correctly you will be able to do it easily.

Here's some tips to increase your timonium effeciently:
   - Buy the calculator to spend gold on buying Timonium
   - Create a borehole and set that to extract Timonium
   - Research mining when you have the research points
   - Buy clockwork miners when you have the research points
   - Buy miners for your available mines
   - When buying troops buy clockwork men because they only need gold
   - Near the 4 mines guarded by the enemy are a few Timonium deposits that can be collected

Side Quest 1
Capture the mines from the enemy. If you manage to do that, you'll get 1 Hero Point


Monte Laguna - The Scavenger Of Monte Laguna

Main Quests:
1) Defend Monte Laguna
2) Locate The Source
3) Defeat The Scavengers (+1 Hero Experience)

Side Quests:
1) Capture The Mines (+1 Hero Experience)

In this mission you need to defeat the scavengers attacking the town initially. You then have to defend it by concentrate build defensive parameters at the 2 roads to your city. When you have enough troops, just go to the east to destroy the scrapyards producing the clockwork monsters. Steam Fortress and Bunker Fort are useful to help defend the base if you can afford them. Then use the smelter to help produce free troops and automatic repair any mechanical units near that building. Don't forget to research politics (attrition) to cause damage to enemies before they get to your base.

Main Quest 1
Completed when you kill the creatures attacking the town at the start of the scenario.

Main Quest 2
To locate the source either use a telescope and look east or move some troops to the east.

Main Quest 3
You need to build up a big army and defeat the 3 scrapyards then concentrate on the scavenger boss. Beware of the boss, Giant Clockwork Spider (Land Leviathan) for it's high damage

Side Quest 1
You can either capture, trade or buy the two mines located in the south and centre of the map. Best to leave this mission until you have a good defence build, then you can buy the mines or capture it.

Notes:
* There are some bonus Timonium deposits to pick up around the map.


Tarona - The Rogue Viscount

Main Quests:
1) Wreckage
2) Defeat The Viscount (+1 Hero Experience)

Side Quests:
1) Aid The Mercenaries
2) Disrupt The Power (+1 Hero Experience)

Concentrate to build your defensive parameters at the Narrow Roads.

Main Quest 1
The wreckage is just east of your start guarded by a gun turret. Destroy the wreckage and the snakes will turn on their master.

Main Quest 2
To capture the city you want to slowly build a good defensive position in the base you start with. The enemy will constantly storm the base so just sit back and defend whilst you build up the defences, city and research. Eventually you'll be able to start pushing out down the path and take out the bunker blocking the path north. You can then take a second town to the south east to help gain resources. Then you'll want to move northwards and take out the power generator to make the city easier to take. Establish a Barrack, a Steam Fortress and a Bunker Fort near the Narrow Roads so you can generate troops more easily to reinforce your attack. Finally storm the base, eventually you will overwhelm it.

Side Quest 1
To aid the mercenaries you need to trade with them and eventually they join your cause.

Side Quest 2
The power generator lies to the north east just south east of the Viscounts base.


Wasteland - Arms Of The Wasteland

Main Quests:
1) Contact Distruzio
2) Capture The City (+1 Hero Experience)

Side Quests
1) Capture the outposts (+1 Hero Experience)

This mission is also a storm the base scenario. You do get the help of an extra hero, Distruzio, when you find him just to the east of your starting point. Distruzio has a base just south of the enemy city in the north east of the map. For some reason this never falls so don't worry about defending it. Once you have Distruzio you also gain his sidekick Zeke who is a rather useful unit. He can change into air, land or siege mode. Once you have Distruzio you'll want to move all your troops back to your main base. Basically build it up and defend until you have a large enough army to take out the city to the north. Once you have this city you'll want to take the outposts in the centre of the map (3 in total). This will complete the sub quest. You should build up the second base because that will be the main target for enemy now. It helps splitting forces one to guard the base and the other for conquest. Move your main force to take the city in the south east of the map. You should then build up a force and help destroy all the enemies in Distruzios city. You should then establish barracks, aerodrome and steam factory before storming the enemy base. You should take it eventually and complete the map.

This will eliminate Lord Rocco from the strategic map making life easier for you.

Main Quest 1
Send Giacomo to the east and you'll meet him by the mine, and he will join you as your new Hero. Return them both to your base.

Main Quest 2
Once you have taken the other cities establish a defensive position in Distuzios city. Then storm and capture the enemy town.

Side Quest 1
The 3 outpost are located in the middle of the map and will attack anyone, including the enemy, who goes near. Once you have captured them you complete the mission. You don't need to worry if you lose one because the mission will remain completed. Itís probably best not to allow the enemy to capture these as he will use them against you.


Corbanile - Corbanile Mines

Main Quests:
1) Destroy The Enemy (+1 Hero Experience)

Side Quests: None

This mission has several cities scattered across the map. You aim is to simply eliminate the main enemy city at your right

Main Quest 1
You should build your forces up and try and take out the enemy as quick as possible. If you have a decent sized starting army you can take them out almost immediately, pressing them whilst you build up your forces. Sitting back and defending makes this map difficult because it is very open and the enemy can attack you from all sides.

Try to go to the neutral city near their main capital at the right of your main capital. Capture the neutral city, but if they have been attacked the enemies, help the local first before attacking the city. If you succeed, make this city as your main attack source for attacking the enemy main city


Condottieri Castle - Clash Of The Condottieri

This mission give you two options either attack the castle or defend the castle. If you attack you get +4 army when you win, if you defend then you get +4 wealth if you win. I choose Attacking side to get the army bonus

Attacking the castle can be difficult and isn't easy without the assistance of the other camps. You want to build up your defences, capture the other three outposts then take the castle.

Main Quest 1
Use available Research point at Politics, Health then Scavenge. Build Steam Fortress at the north, near the narrow roads. Summon Venza to get her flying ability and Gun Drones ability


Side Quest 1
Start conquering from your right. If you take out any of the camps then the castle will take them over if you leave them undefended. A good strategy is to take out the soldiers guarding them and get the strength of the camp down to almost capturing it then leave them. When you have done this for all three send three of your flying units to each and take them over simultaneously. You can then storm the castle from 3 sides.

You only have to defend it for a short period of time so simply build up your defences and defend.

Main Quest 1
Use available Research point at Politics, Health then Scavenge. Then build Steam Fortress and Bunker Fort. If you have a good enough starting army then it may be easier to take a camp early. After a while a timer will run out and you'll win the mission

Side Quest 1
Start conquering from your right. Then purchase a small unit from that camp or you can also build defense tower to guard it. Take out the three camps to stop the attacks.

Notes:
* There are several Timonium deposits around the map which you can collect.


Umberto Forest - War In The Clouds

Main Quests:
1) Capture Neutrals
2) Breaking The Siege (+2 Hero Experience)

Side Quests:
1) Summon Lenora
2) Help The Loyal Pirata

Prepare for strong air attacks and medium ground attack from enemies. You must complete the bonus quest before Allied city captured by the enemy. If allied city captured, you can retake the allied city again later. Build strong ground defense (such as Steam Fortress, Bunker Fort and air destroyer) and air defense (defense tower and pirata flyers) at the road near enemies territories. Research for 1 Clockwork Miner, Superior Training, Monoculars, Zeke, 2 Gun Flyers, Med Pack, Improved Military Buildings then 1 Ultra Juggernaut

Main Quest 1
You need to take control of the condottieri camp, company mine and city to the north of the camp. You are probably best to do these in that order.

Main Quest 2
You need to take out the three bunkers and that will clear the path to the enemy city in the east. When you clear the bunkers the Pirata city will send help in attacking the enemy city.

Side Quest 1
Simply summon Lenora to complete this side quest

Side Quest 2
Send Lenora to the allied city and you will be told that they want 300 Timonium and wealth to build 2 air destroyers for you.


Maldini - Miana Reservoir

Main Quests:

Destroy all of the enemy city

Main Quest 1

Feligno - The Cliffs Of Feligno

Main Quests:

In this mission to attack the enemy base you either need Cargo Dirigibles or air destroyers. You can research an air destroyer transport which allows you to transport several troops and has the same attacking capabilities as a normal air destroyer. If you complete the free the prisoners mission you get an extra hero, General Battaglion. Also, expect Heavy Air Battle in this mission

Main Quest 1
You need to take the airbases to prevent the constant attacks from the air by the enemy. You will need to build up you base and defend against the enemy who will drop cargo dirigibles full of troops in the middle of your city. Once you have a good base established you should use air destroyers to remove the gun turrets from the cliffs. You can then freely attack the base from the north east of the map. You should be able to build a steam factory when you take out the mine from which you can create several juggernauts or cannons to pound the city and defeat the enemy. Once defeated the general will then be removed from the strategic map.

Side Quest 1
The mine is located in the east of the map and is guarded by several troops and a gun turret. Destroying the door will free the prisoners and you will gain several troops including General Battaglion, as your new hero.

Side Quest 2
The three airbases are situated to the east and north of the base. As you take each base the enemy will try to take them back.


Silea - Silea Forest

Main Quests:

Destroy all of the enemy cities

Main Quest 1
Try to go to the neutral city near their main capital at the right of your main capital. Capture the neutral city, but if they have been attacked the enemies, help the local first before attacking the city. If you succeed, make this city as your main attack source for attacking the enemy main city.


Dirsi - Dirsi Prison

Main Quests:
1) Break In
2) The Magistrate
3) Kill Warden (+2 Hero Experience)

Side Quests:
1) Find The Master

You have to pick 3 heroes to use on this mission. You have to choose Giacomo but have a choice of the remaining 2. I would recommend Venza for flying ability and Gun Drone abilty, then i would recommended General Battaglion for his devastating siege attack. You don't get any extra units so take your time and heal when you can. Once inside the prison you have around 12 minutes to complete this mission before the Dogde armies arrive.

You can use your scout to scout the area. The enemy numbers are fixed so you won't have to worry about more enemies spawning.

Main Quest 1
To complete the break in quest simply break in through either the front or side door. All doors on the map are marked blue to make it easy to identify.

Main Quest 2
There are 4 magistrates dotted around the map. Destroy the doors on their cells and they will be released. You can leave them where they are but make sure they don't die to complete the quest.

Main Quest 3
The warden will appear in the far west of the map when you have freed the magistrates. You need to make your way to him and then kill him to complete the level.

Side Quest 1
The master and golem are found near the side entrance and the far cell in the northeast. Simply destroy the cell door and they will join you.


Ranconi - Battle At Ranconi Bridge

Main Quests:
1) Storm The Bridge
2) Capture Ranconi (+2 Hero Experience)

Side Quests:
1) Capture The Observatory

This mission can be quite difficult if you storm the town too early. Once you have captured the town the enemy sends demolition trucks to destroy the bridge and if you can't destroy them you lose this mission. The best approach to this mission is to build the town up and call as many of your heroes as you see fit. Air units are good because of the limited width of the bridge when you have to cross to the other side. When you have made it over the bridge, destroy the buildings and then take the city.

Main Quest 1
The first task will be complete once the city to the east of you starting point has been taken. I would recommend building your town to its maximum and defending then taking the enemy city. You have to be quick then to prevent the enemy blowing the bridge and losing the level.

Main Quest 2
When you trigger this mission you have three objectives:
   - Don't let the bridge be destroyed
   - Destroy the steam factory
   - Capture the city

Destroy the trucks generated by the steam factory then the steam factory. You can then concentrate on destroying the enemy city.

Side Quest 1
Attack and capture the telescope to complete this objective.


Venucci - The Plains Of Venucci

Main Quests:

4) Repair Leviathan

At start, you can choose 3 heroes that will be arriving with Giacomo from the beginning, which i recommended are Venza and General Battaglion

There's 3 roads to your main city, but you can concentrate your defensive parameters on the middle roads

This is a take the city scenario with plenty going on to keep you busy. You want to head north and east and destroy the ammo deposits as soon as possible. These are guarded but you should have a decent enough starting army to do this. Meanwhile build the base defence and prepare to be battered by the "hammer". When you have destroyed the depots, you'll want to build up your forces and head to the hammer and take that out. Your next task would be to find and defeat the leviathan, which you can then augment and it will become a useful weapon.

The next task is to use the hammer on the reinforcements that appear to the east, poison should take care of them. Once all these tasks are done you'll only need to take the enemy city to beat the mission and end the campaign.

Main Quest 1
Simply storm the city to complete this quest.

Main Quest 2
Capture the hammer like you would any other building, it can't fight back but may be guarded by the leviathan. You can use Venza to attack the Hammer and circle it to avoid the Leviathan attack. Fortunately, while moving, Venza can still attack the Hammer. Also you can use Gun Drone to help attacking the Hammer

Side Quest 1
Destroying these two ammo depots will save you being the recipient of some hardcore bombing action from the hammer. You'll find they blow up when captured and are guarded by two juggernauts and several soldier units.

Side Quest 2
Firing the hammer will be activated when the hammer is captured. The Doge will bring in reinforcements in the northwest of the map. The hammer has 3 different shells which you can use. Choose the poison to kill them. It make take a few shots. The telescope is good here for locating the target.

Side Quest 3
The land leviathan is the same boss as the scavenger boss from earlier in the game. However, once defeated you can repair it and use it on your side.

Side Quest 4
To repair the leviathan you simply use the augmentation skill of Giacomo.

3.1 Strategic Map

Below are the starting values of each section of the map. Your path is linear until you finish mission 2, Azar Haraf, then you can make your own way around the map and choose what missions to take on. Each location on the map has a unique mission. Once the unique mission has been complete you take control of that location. If you lose a location you can take it back but you won't have to do the unique mission again. You will instead have to complete a generic, Destroy All Enemy Cities mission type. These will only yield experience points for you heroes.

Building Cities

When you take a location you can use wealth to build up the cities in these locations in the same way you do in a mission.

Military District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Awards 1 army point after construction.
   - Raises population limit at start of scenario.
   - Sends reinforcements to scenarios in adjacent territories.

Magus District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Awards 1 magic the turn after construction.

Merchant District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Generates 1 wealth per turn.
   - Sends caravans containing wealth to scenarios in adjacent territories.

Palace District (cost 6 wealth)
   - Upgrades a city to a large city, a large city to a great city.
   - Generates 1 point of wealth, magic and army per turn
   - 3 non palace districts are required for each palace district

The price of districts increases by 1 for each district that already exists so to create a palace district will cost you (1+2+3) 6 for the districts and 6 for the palace, 12 in total. Additional palace district costs 10 points. Districts under attack from enemy generals cost more to place so beware.

Early on the game I would suggest building merchant districts to generate wealth to expand and defend your lands.

You only need to build military districts on the edge of you territory where the enemy is most likely to attack. One military district will hold off an attacking army for one turn so work out if you can save a location before moving. You only have 1 free move and 1 attack per turn so watch where the enemy moves and plan your attacks and defence accordingly.

Magus District are useful because the points provided help you research new troops and upgrades to use in battle.


Campaign Goals

You have two campaign goals on the map, each will give you a key when completed. When you have 2 keys a new location, Mezekesh, will appear which is the last mission in the campaign.

There are 3 enemy genies to contend with on the map, defeating a Genie will eliminate him from the game for a couple of turns. They will then respawn in an enemy controlled land.

You have the chance to upgrade each hero you meet with experience points gained in missions (and on strategic map). It assumes you haven't upgraded any hero values. The points needed are shown below:

3.3 Mission Guide

The mission section offers notes on the quests and what you need to do to trigger or complete them.

The mission order for Corruption Campaign reflect my journal path.

Some general advice on scenario's:

   - First, build Merchant District to gather wealth. Then build Military District to strengthen your city and raise your population cap. Then concentrate to build Magus District to gain Research Point.
   - When you have enough Research Point, prioritize to search Land Lore, so you can see all the map, increase Border Push and increase attrition damage dealt to enemy units
   - Build Glass Citadel near enemy city, to block them up
   - When you have a big starting army you can sometimes rush the enemy and win scenarios much easier.
   - Do the side quest first before finishing the main quest, so you will get bonus or reinforcements


Deserts Edge - Into The Desert

Main Quests:
1) Recover Relic (+1 experience)
2) Escort The Mystic (+1 experience)
3) Defeat Marwan (+1 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Circles Of Sand (+1 experience and Protection)

Main Quest 1
From the start you need to head west then south over the bridge. Destroy the guardians and circles of sand to capture the relic. Mystic will then join you.

Main Quest 2
Follow Mystic to the south west of the map defeating two Alin armies that spawn on the way. You can also destroy some more circles of sand on the way.

Main Quest 3
Mystic will change into Marwan. You don't need to actually attack him at this point because Arri will turn up and defeat him for you.

Side Quest
Destroy 7 circles of sand on the way through the main tasks, while 1 Sand at the left road while Mystic take different road. Complete this side quest before Mystic turn into Marwan, or you can't complete this side quest, as the Sand turn into your allies

At the end of this mission, Arri will join you, while Lenora had to go to her City, Pirata, to finish her unfinished business


Azar Harif - The Defence Of Azar Harif

Main Quests:
1) Fight Invaders
2) Build Alin Forces (+1 experience)
3) Glass Spires (+1 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Floating Castle (+1 experience)
2) Destroy Don Sclario's Forces (+1 experience)

Main Quest 1
You need to defeat the attackers, including Marwan to beat this quest.

Main Quest 2
You need to capture a trading post, build a sand spire and build a circle of sand to complete the quest.

Main Quest 3
You need to destroy the 5 sand spires that will constantly attack you. Basically, build and defend then attack and destroy each spire. The Floating City is useful in this quest.

Side Quest 1
The floating city moves around the map, you can capture it like any other city. It then provides several bonus attacks which help in the main quest of destroying the spires.

Side Quest 2
You can attack his small settlement in the north of the map but he'll also be attacked by Alin


Meeting Grounds - Tale Of The Lost Vinci

Main Quests:
1) Hold out for 18 minutes (+3 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Capture Camps (+1 experience and free Berserker troops)

At this mission, you will defend the Oasis side by side with your new hero, Pulitore, ex Dogde Commander.

Main Quest
You need to build up the defence and troops for each of the heroes and defend against the endless dark Alin attacks. This is a build and defend mission so balance building city with troops to prevent you from being overrun. If the Oasis falls you will lose the mission. Concentrate your defence parameter near the Oasis.

Side Quest
The camps are in the NE, SW and NW of the map. If you capture them then they will provide some initial troops and unlimited free troops which spawn over time. These are difficult to acquire because of the cost of the sites. You might need to use the diplomacy to send money to and from each hero. Also, using Pulitore's calculator to turn Timonium into wealth is useful.


Ashen Waste - Mount Tola

Main Quests:
1) Capture the enemy (+4 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at the north of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital


Shining Desert - Summers Heat

Main Quests:
1) Defeat the dark Alin (+4 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at the right of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital


Bright Lands - Ruin Raiders

You only can have 3 heroes. There is a lot of fighting here so choose your toughest fighting heroes for this mission. I use Giacomo, Distruzio and Arri

Main Quests:
1) Meet with the explorers
2) Capture the city (+1 experience)
3) Defence of the city (+1 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Find the relics (+1 experience)

Main Quest 1
The explorers are in the east of the map, approach them to complete the quest.

Main Quest 2
The city has some defenders, you shouldn't have any trouble taking the city though.

Main Quest 3
This can be quite difficult, basically just build up troops and defeat the enemies as they appear. You will need to defeat the 3 genies to complete this part of the mission and not lose the city.

Side Quest
This mission is easy enough to complete so long as you collect the relics on the way to the city. Diztruzio's Zeke is useful here in his scout form to collect them if you are defending the city.


Southern Dunes - Hundreds By Night

Main Quests:
1) Defend the city (+2 experience)
2) Destroy the salamanders (+2 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Achieve great city (get your new hero, Belisari)


Main Quest 1
You have a small amount of daylight time to build up your defences ready for the night time attack of the salamanders. I would build just 2 miners and concentrate the rest of the creation of troops to defend. Reach daylight to win this quest.

Main Quest 2
The salamanders will retreat in the daylight so use this time to fortify defences and build more mines. Glass fortresses are very useful in defending the vital entry to the city and more importantly your mines. Create troops to defend and attack each of the three lairs. Probably best to take out the one in the west first and return before nightfall. Attrition at night is a killer so stay in the city boundaries. The day night routine continues until all salamanders queens are defeated. The final part of the mission is to kill all remaining salamanders who won't respawn once the queens are dead.

Side Quest
You basically need to complete a great city before the end of the first period of sunlight. Build mines and miners to help get as much Timonium as possible.


Dark Chasm

Main Quests:
1) Capture the enemy (+4 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
Your area and the enemy area will be divided by a deep chasm. Conquer all the neutral city on your side. Prioritize to build Military District at all your cities, except at your main city, because your main city located at the centre of the others city. If you have conquer all the cities at your side and you have a strong defenses, you can move to attack at the enemy side area


Temple Sands - The Ancient Temple

You have to choose three heroes for this mission. There is no building just fighting so choose the best attacking heroes for this mission. I use Giacomo, Venza and General Battaglion

Main Quests:
1) Hunt down Marwan (+3 experience)
2) Kill the glass golems (+1 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Free the prisoners (gain extra troops)

Main Quest 1
Basically follow Marwan along the path fighting the armies he summons. Spend time to heal and restore powers after each battle. You have 14 minutes to complete the mission but that is more than enough. On the path you will be able to free glass prisoners to gain extra troops.

Main Quest 2
When Marwan gets to the temple in the far east of map he will summon 2 glass golems which you need to destroy to complete the quest.

Side Quest
There are 11 prisoners along the path. You need to attack them to release them and gain extra troops. The last few are just to the east of the temple where Marwan summons the golems so send a flying hero to them to release them before fighting Marwan's golems.


Cold Sands

Choose 3 heroes at the start of the mission. Good fighting heroes are most useful on this map. I choose Giacomo, Venza and General Battaglion

Main Quests:
1) Escort Duty (+3 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Goods Recovery (+1 experience)


Main Quest 1
You need to move three units one at a time to the flag in the north west of the map. The enemy will attack you on route so defend and heal them if necessary. You have only ten minutes to complete which is more than enough time.

Side Quest
You need to recover the goods guarded by enemies in the west of the map. You'll need to complete this before the main escort mission.


Nest Of Dragons
Choose 3 heroes at the start of the mission. Flying and siege units are very useful here. I choose Giacomo, Venza and General Battaglion

Main Quests:
1) Dark Infestation (+2 experience)
2) Dragon Corruption (+2 experience)

Side Quests: None


Main Quest 1
Quickly move your air units to free the 4 dragons trapped in the west of the map. Only flying units can get to them. There are several enemies on route and guarding the dragons. Once freed they will join you.

You have nine minutes to capture the dark Alin base and rescue Thuron. Basically start and attack city defeating any enemies that attack. Once you have completed the quest the timer will end. You will control Thuron for the remainder of the mission.

Main Quest 2
You then need to build up a very strong attack force and take the Alin city in the north of the map. It is heavily defended by glass citadels which you should destroy to make the quest easier. The base will constantly attack you whilst you build your army and city.


Valley Of The Mad

You have the choice of 3 heroes at the start of the mission. I choose Venza and General Battaglion

Main Quests:
1) Crazy Giacomo (+4 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
You need to follow Giacomo around the map for 8 minutes killing all enemy who attack. Send Venza in front of Giacomo to guard him from incoming enemies attack. Just before the end a Doge hallucination and dark horror will appear, you need to kill both before the mission ends.


Sandbar Flats -Sands Of Corruption

Main Quests:
1) Dark Influence (+1 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Find The Scientist (+1 experience)
2) Observations (+1 experience)
3) Lost (+1 experience)


Main Quest 1
You need to defeat the 5 dark glass lairs on the map. To make things more difficult, Andromolek will attack constantly and so will the glass lairs. You'll want to take out the one's nearest to the base first then defend and build you city. Take the city to the west and defend it because the enemy will take it if you leave it undefended. You'll want to do the side quests before advancing any further. Once the side quests are complete, take the other cities and work your way to the main Alin city and take that out. The final two citadels will then be a piece of cake.

You will get Andromolek as your new hero to use in future missions when you complete the quest.

Side Quest 1
The scientist is in a small settlement in the north east of the map. Send a hero to him to complete this quest.

Side Quest 2
He'll ask you to bring a salamander to him and capture a salamander nest. You can create a salamander at your base for the first or get one from the salamander nest to the east of your starting city. Beware though, if you capture the salamander base before triggering this quest then you'll have to hope the enemy recaptures it then take it back to complete this quest. This is a glitch in the game.

Side Quest 3
You have to get the missing clockwork man in the northwest of the map back to the scientist. You'll need to use puzzle box to transport him because he is trapped on top of a mountain.


The King's Crown - Split Forces

Main Quests:
1) Defeat the dark Alin (+4 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
You need to do the following:
   - Destroy the 2 glass citadels
   - Destroy the 2 dark lairs
   - Don't loose both cities

Start by using your main force and destroy the 1 glass citadel and 1 dark lair to the east of the city. Concentrate to build up an army at the city where Giacomo stood. At the other city, concentrate to build only Military District to strengthen it's defense guns and it's health. When you have a good defence, send over an army of flying creatures and transport other troops if needed, to the other city. Then destroy the remaining citadel and lair.


Fools Path - Kalahase Desert

Main Quests:
1) Defeat the enemy (+2 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at the north of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital


City Of Genies - Elder's Rise

Main Quests:
1) Defeat the enemy (+2 exp)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
This is a defeat the enemy with a slight twist in that the map is split by a massive mountain along the entire middle of the map. You'll need to build several armies in control groups to defend constant attacks then use puzzle boxes and flying units to take a city of the other side. You then need to take out the remaining cities to win the mission.


Deepest Desert - The Sand Warden

Main Quests:
1) Defeat Dakhla (+2 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Defeat the dark Alin (+1 experience)
2) Capture Dakhla's Treasure (+1 experience)

Main Quest
First take the city near to where you start and build it up. You need to capture the sand citadel that Dakhla is guarding and ensure that the dark Alin do not take him first. Basically you'll want to take out the dark Alin first (one of the side quests) then concentrate on defeating Dakhla. Once the dark Alin are out of the way then this is fairly easy to achieve. You'll probably want to take out his treasures to help you (side quest). This gives you the key of sand.

Side Quest 1
To defeat the dark Alin you need to do the following:
   - capture the dark Alin city
   - destroy the glass citadel
   - destroy all the dark spires (3)

Two of the dark spires and glass citadel are just to the east of your city. They defend some oasis so take a decent force and take these out. The final spire and city is in the north of the map. With a decent force you should take this out easily.

Side Quest 2
It's easier to take out the treasure area but this is best left until the Alin have been dealt with. The treasure is in the south of the map.


Hellforge Mountains - Lava Pools

Main Quests:
1) Flame Key (+1 experience)
2) Lava Fort (+1 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Prospectors (+1 experience)
2) Cheapskates (+1 experience)


Main Quest 1
You need to rescue Damanhur who is guarded by three enemy genies. You don't want to rush in or you will be defeated easily so be patient and build the city and your defences. The enemy will send dark wind transports to take her away which can be easily destroyed. They enter randomly on the map (usually came from the bottom right corner) so split the defence forces into control groups to make it easier to destroy them when they appear. Then you can launch a rescue, taking out all the enemies that guard Damanhur. Once you've done this you have a new hero for this and subsequent missions.

The enemy will constantly attack you whilst you build so prepare to defend these attacks.

Main Quest 2
You need to capture the fort and defeat the fire golem to complete this quest. You need to take out the base guarding the fort and the fire golem before you can get to the fort. A large army and a few heroes should help with this. You now have the key of fire, one of the two keys needed to unlock the final level.

Side Quest 1
The prospectors are in the west of the map and to complete this mission you need to take the trading post to the north of the mine and make sure the prospectors are not killed.

Side Quest 2
After saving them they aren't that grateful so you need to use diplomacy to declare war on them and then kill them.


Mazekash - Through a Glass Darkly
You need to choose 3 heroes for this mission and there is no building. I choose Giacomo, Venza and General Battaglion

Main Quests:
1) Sawn (+2 experience)
2) Destroy Hammer (+2 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest 1
This is quite tough as you would expect. I would use the army to scout the map outside the tunnels first and defeat a small Doge army in the east, saves doing it later in the mission. You then enter the tunnels and work your way around them until you get to Sawu. You'll encounter enemy on the way which you should kill and heal as you go. there are several oasis you can capture to help your healing. There are also prisoners trapped in glass you can free to supplement your army. On the way there are several sub bosses to fight:

   - Elder Glass Golem - very tough boss who splits in two lesser golems. Try to attack it with Air Units, because he only can attack ground units. He will attack when large armies move near it, such as 4 Demolition Team. So, move all your air units near the Elder Glass Golem, then summon 4 Demolition Team from Giacomo Skills and move near the Elder Glass Golem, to wake him up. If he awakes, attack the Elder Glass Golem with 4 Demolition Team first, then with your air units

   - Bazek, Spider queen is also very tough. Attack her with your air units. Backup them with Cease Fire (Special Power) whenever your air units health is below 50%, so they can retreat peacefully to the nearest Oasis. While they retreat, you must order Giacomo to attack her, so she will attack Giacomo, instead the air units. When Giacomo health is below 50%, retreat him to the Oasis, while General Battaglion attack the Queen Spider. And when General Battaglion health is below 50%, retreat him to the Oasis, while your first air units that has been recovered attack the Queen Spider again.

Do that again and again until you can defeat Bazek

When you get to Sawu, use Create Oasis (Special Power) to create an Oasis near the enemies Citadel. Then defeat the citadels guarding the entrance and the other enemies, then retreat to the Oasis to heal your armies. When your at full health and powers take him on with all you have. He will summon a huge dragon that you should kill. Try to release the trapped prisoners in glass with clockwork men. He will also encase your men in glass which you will need to free to use them. Eventually he will be defeated and join you.

Main Quest 2
The Dogde has arrived! Retreat into the mine and fully heal and replenish powers. Then exit the mine and cross the bridge. Beware though, there's a giant Clockwork Spider, King Leviathan, near the bridge. Fortunately, Lenora and a group of pirata arrive and will join you to fight the enemy. When the King Leviathan dead, heal back up and replenish powers, then head towards the hammer in the east of the map. There is an oasis that is useful, capture it, so you can heal before moving onto the hammer. The hammer can only attack if you are in its range or if you are fighting enemies. Use Super Armor from Giacomo skill when your armies attacked by the Hammer. There are a lot of enemies guarding the hammer so defeat them slowly and draw them back to the oasis to make it easier. Lenora's piracy skill is useful to capture extra troops. Finally when you have defeated the guards take out the hammer to complete the mission and the Alin campaign.

4.1 Strategic Map

Below are the starting values of each section of the map. Your path is linear until you finish mission 2, Chumuk, then you can make your own way around the map and choose what missions to take on. Each location on the map has a unique mission. Once the unique mission has been complete you take control of that location. If you lose a location you can take it back but you won't have to do the unique mission again. You will instead have to complete a generic, Destroy All Enemy Cities mission type. These will only yield experience points for you heroes.

Building Cities
When you take a location you can use wealth to build up the cities in these locations in the same way you do in a mission.

Military District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Defends against enemy attacks

Holy District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Awards 1 technology the turn after construction.

Reactor District (cost 1 wealth)
   - Generates 1 wealth per turn.

Palace District (cost 6 wealth)
   - Upgrades a city to a large city, a large city to a great city.
   - Generates 1 point of power, technology and army per turn
   - 3 non palace districts are required for each palace district

The price of districts increases by 1 for each district that already exists so to create a palace district will cost you (1+2+3) 6 for the districts and 6 for the palace, 12 in total. Additional palace district costs 10 points. Districts under attack from enemy generals cost more to place so beware.

Early on the game I would suggest building reactor districts to generate wealth to expand and defend your lands.

You only need to build military districts on the edge of you territory where the enemy is most likely to attack. One military district will hold off an attacking army for one turn so work out if you can save a location before moving. You only have 1 free move and 1 attack per turn so watch where the enemy moves and plan your attacks and defence accordingly.

Holy districts are useful because the points provided help you research new troops and also upgrades troops to use in battles.


Campaign Goals

You have three campaign goals on the map:

   - Tecuhtli (Xil - the sun god)
   - Teomqui (Shok - goddess of storm)
   - Kahal (Czin, god of death)

There are 3 enemy generals to contend with on the map. Capturing the campaign goals will remove the general from the map according to their capital. You'll want to take out Xil and Shock as quickly as possible to concentrate on building your cities and taking on Czin.

If you defeat enemy Heroes not within their Capital, they just retreat to their available teritories



4.2 Heroes

After the first mission you need to decide which factions heroes to use in this campaign, Venucci or Alin. I'll list them both. You get Giacomo but will have to rebuild his stats because his powers have changed. It assumes you haven't upgraded any hero values.

4.3 Mission Guide

The Cuotl missions are very hard to beat as you would expect being the final campaign. If you have spent a lot of time on building up Venuci heroes then it's probably best to take them into the final mission because they will be more experienced. As my favorite heroes at Venucci side (Venza and General Battaglion), i choose Venucci as my armies

The mission section offers notes on the quests and what you need to do to trigger or complete them.

The mission order for Reborn Campaign reflet my journal path.

Some general advice on scenario's:
   - First, build Holy District to get free Holy Ark, that you can use to support your units. Then build Merchant District to gather Wealth, after that build Military District to strengthen your city and raise your population cap. After that, concentrate to build Holy Ark to get more Holy Ark, increase attrition and border push.
   - When you have enough Research Point, prioritize to search Worship and Zeal
   - Build Sanctuary near enemy city, to block them up
   - When you have a big starting army, you can sometimes rush the enemy and win the scenarios much easier
   - Do the side quest first before finishing the main quest, so you will get bonus or reinforcements
   - At every missions, summon Venza as fast as you can. Because, if you had maximize her power, she can all by herself attack enemy city, using her Gun Drones and Siege Zeppelin
   - You can use Holy Ark to increase the strength of the building. I always use Holy Ark to strengthen my Sanctuary and Obelisk
   - Try to build adjacent Obelisks, so they can create a 'network' (or we can call it, Channel Power) to increase their attack.


Hena Sanctuary - Showdown

At this mission, you lead 2 forces, Vinci (Giacomo, Carlini, Lenora) and Alin (Arri, Damanhur, Dakhla)

Main Quests:
1) Kill Cuotl (+3 experience)
2) Moon Temple (+3 experience)

Side Quests: None

In this mission, you must 2 Defense Parameter, at North of Vinci City and at the Right of Alin City

Main Quest 1
This quest is easy enough as they constantly attack, just kill 35 units of any type.

Main Quest 2
Yontash will join you as your new Hero. You need to manage both bases building and defending. Then take out the enemy sites dotted around the roads on the map. Don't forget to defend your bases when doing this, though. When you've cleaned them all out head to the temple with a hefty army and assault it to complete the mission.

After you've completed the mission, you will see the cutscene where Carlini will be killed when defending you from Czin attack


Chumuk - The Rift

Main Quests:
1) Discover Cuotl Power (+3 experience)
2) Cuotl Menace (+3 experience)

Side Quests: None

At this mission, you have to choose whether to lead Vinci armies or Alin armies. If you choose Vinci armies, you'll be followed by Lenora, Yontash, Sawu, Venza, Battaglion and Pulitore. If you choose Alin armies, you'll be followed by Yontash, Arri, Sawu, Damanhur, Dakhla, Andromolek and Belisari

I choose to lead Vinci Armies.

Also, in this mission, you'll get a new Hero, Kakoolha. Strengthen position of Kakoolha by build Sanctuary there.

Main Quest 1
To complete this quest you need to do the following:

   - Add a reactor district
   - Build a fane
   - Subdue a neutral site

When you complete this then you need to defeat the Cuotl which is almost impossible if you do this quest as soon as possible. Instead build up a great city, summon all your heroes, then complete the mission. I would leave the subdue part until last to allow you to create a massive army.

Main Quest 2
With your mass army simply march north and take all the cities. You should do this easily with the mass force.


The Storm Marshes
Main Quests:
1) Defeat The Enemy (+6 experience)

Side Quests: None

In this mission, summon Venza as fast as you can, to help you defeat the enemies.

Main Quest
This map is split into 5 land masses, 4 in each corner and a large strip along the centre. Your base is in the south west and the enemy in the north east. There is a Pantheon in the centre of the map that allows you to create Kuls Fighter Bombers.

Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at the north of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital


Valley Of The Lost Souls

Main Quests:
1) Defeat The Enemy (+6 exp)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at the South of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital


Tecuhtli - Valley Of The Sun

Main Quests:
1) Eye Of The Gods (+3 experience)
2) Destroy the Cuotl

Main Quest 1
   - Take control of the eye of the gods

The eye is in the centre of the map and is guarded by several enemies. Beware of the Sun Beam Tower devastating wide area attack damage. Build your forces before even thinking of attacking. Use Venza Gun Drones skill to distract enemies from attacking your armies. If you manage to control this instrument, prioritize to build defence parameters here, because enemy will try to retake this instrument

Main Quest 2
   - Kill Xil, The Sun God
   - Capture Xil's Capital

Xil will attack you eventually so just build and defend from the start. If you are doing the mission with his army not on this mission of the map then he will not resurrect. Trying to win this mission with him on the map is extremely difficult. Once you have the eye, work your way east and take his capital.


Cities Of Kanam - Oppression

The enemies will come from 2 directions:
1. From North will come 2 large enemy groups
2. From South will come 1 large enemy group

Summon Venza as fast as you can, and send her alone to guard the South, near the left south city. With her Gun Drones and Siege Zeppelin ability, also backup by defense from the city, she can defeat the enemies. Then, the rest of your armies can concentrate on defending the centre city.

Main Quests:

Main Quest
You have three minutes to prepare a defence then you will be attacked by enemy large groups armies


Jalam Divide - Airlift

Main Quests:
1) Capture The Capital (+6 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Defend Shipments

Main Quest
The map is split into two sides with a big ravine across the centre. The only way to cross is two bridges or flying (you can use a fane too).

The start of this is very difficult if you are doing the shipments. You need to concentrate on creating the two flying heroes and 3-4 fighters. You must also maintain a good ground army to fight off the attacks from the enemy. They will head for your main city across two bridges, mainly the left but the right later in the mission. There are a few shrines dotted around to make your side of the divide safe. If you complete the side quest, the attacks seem to subside a little, so try and guard the bridges by moving the City of Vengeance and by placing a Sanctuary. Then kill anything that tries to cross. When you have a big enough army defending both sides, push on and take the enemies cities.

Side Quest
You need to defend seven shipments that will randomly appear on either the east or west of the map. They are impossible to defend without flying units so you'll need to construct a temple as soon as the level starts or summon Venza. You should be able to save enough manna to call 2 flying heroes. If you have researched Venza's advanced flyer she is perfect as she will last 3-4 times longer than several quetzal fighters and is cheaper. Lenora is good as a second hero because she can use her piracy skill to convert flying enemies to aid you.

if you complete this quest you are awarded the city of vengeance. A massive floating city with the following:
   - 2600 Health
   - Transport Capacity Of 25
   - Gravity Wave (a crippling wave of shocking force destroys all in its path)
   - Reintegrate (fully repairs the city of vengeance)
   - Disrupt (fiery beam heats brick to melting point, doing tremendous damage to one target building)
   - Good attack and siege values

You can only use the powers if you have a great City!


Hab Seb - Rain Flats

Main Quests:
1) Defeat The Enemy

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at the South of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital


Kumee Jungle - Insurrection

Main Quests:
1) Capture Capital (+4 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Capture Additional Cities (+2 experience)

Main Quest
The capital is in the north west of the map. You'll be surrounded by enemies soldiers and building, prepared for Hard Battle. Capture nearby neutral city as fast as you can. Then summon Venza as fast as you can, to strengthen your defenses.

The enemy is attacking from the north (especially, if there's enemy hero, he will attack at the first time when this mission is started, so prepare for that fight, concentrate on taking the enemy hero first, use Mirror Image skill from Giacomo, to create 3 copy of Giacomo that also targeting at the enemy hero)

After that, conquer the enemy city at right of your main city. Then, capture all the other enemy cities before attacking the enemy main city

Side Quest
Take the city in the east first then the two in the west.


Lost Basin - The Lost Basin

Main Quests:
1) Defeat The Enemy (+6 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at the North of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital

If there's enemy hero (i fight Shok), he will position at the left of your starting position


Teomqui - Crypt Of Knowledge

Main Quests:
1) Defeat The Storm Goddess (+6 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest
   - Capture all Cuotl cities
   - capture the crypt of knowledge
   - Kill Shok, the storm goddess

Beware, the Crypt of Knowledge can turn opposite armies into their own armies. The crypt is in the centre of the map and the city in the north west. If you can capture it, build strong defence parameters around the Crypt. Then capture enemy cities.

Be carefull if you near Rain Temple, because it has very strong damaging attack


Kaba Swamplands

Main Quests:
1) Defeat The Enemy (+6 experience)

Main Quest
Bring your forces to neutral town near enemy main capital at Right of your main capital, then capture the town, or, if it attacked by the enemy, then destroy the enemy first before taking the city. If you succeed, use the town as your main source for attacking the enemy main capital


Zhat - Guerrilla Warfare

You start this mission by choosing 3 heroes, so choose you strongest fighting heroes. I choose Giacomo, Venza and General Battaglion

Main Quests:
1) A Foothold (+2 experience)
2) Frontal Assault (+2 experience)

Side Quests:
1) Hidden fallen
2) Supply Interruption (+1 experience)
3) A Stranglehold (+1 experience)

Main Quest 1
Capture one of four sanctuaries. You can take any of the four sanctuaries, one tip here is before doing this just wait for lots of re-enforcements to arrive until they stop coming then take the sanctuary in the left of your position first.

Main Quest 2
Capture the Cuotl City. The city is in the centre of the map and should only be attempted with a large army. Taking outposts increases your population cap plus gives research points.You can't build a city only soldiers so spend you money on heroes and strong troops. When you have taken all four sanctuaries you can attack the main city.

Side Quest 1
There are 12 groups of hidden fallen around the map. Simply find them and they will join you.

Side Quest 2
Raid 3 Cuotl caravans to achieve this mission. They seem to travel to and from the outposts. You can also take them out when they gather in the main city.

Side Quest 3
You need to capture and hold all 4 sanctuaries. To achieve this you'll need all of your heroes and split them and your ground troops to guard each sanctuary once you have taken them.


Luna Scars - Rain Flats

Main Quests:
1) Defeat The Enemy (+6 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest

Kahal - Battle Of The Gods

At start, your heroes will be available, except Giacomo, and they split into two groups:

Group 1:
1. Lenora
2. Distruzio
3. Pulitore
4. Yontash

Group 2:
1. Venza
2. Battaglion
3. Kakoolha
4. Sawu

Main Quests:
1) Travel To The Centre (+2 experience)
2) Defeat The Death God (+4 experience)

Side Quests: None

Main Quest 1
   - Destroy the first power node set
   - Destroy the second power node set
   - Destroy the third power node set

There is a 30 minute timer. You need to use your two armies and take out the power nodes and any other enemy structures or enemies on the map. You can't get into the middle yet so just worry about the outer part of the map. By the start of each group you can create extra troops, each group has it's own funds and they can be sent to each other using the alliance if needed. Just take your time here slowly moving and conquering the map. You'll have more than enough troops to beat anything the enemy throws at you. If you have Mind Control Special Power, you can control enemy special unit, such as Moon Gorrilas. When you destroy the last node the centre opens up and you'll take control of Giacomo and a group of troops to finish Czin off.

You can also use Build Camp Special Power, if any, to build free Berserker units to attack the enemies

Main Quest 2
   - Destroy Czin, the death god
   - Giacomo must survive

Giacomo will arrive at the center. You need to make your way slowly towards Czin taking out any enemies in your path. Then kill Czin and watch the end cutscene. You can use Mind Control Special Power or Treachery Special Power to capture enemy units
