TALK TO MICHEM

Intro: Greetings! I am Michem, one of the Paladin Loremasters. Loremasters are good with scrolls but not so great with swords so we were spared while our greatest fighters disappeared. We are record keepers and holders of the ancient rites and wisdowm of the paladin order but my speciality is Lightguard keep. Now I fear my keep might be in great danger. Can you help me?

Task 1: Barely Made It
Description: Before you help me, Lightguard needs you. I was traveling by wagon when the undead attacked. I made it back here but the wagon carrying much needed food and supplies didn't. You must locate that wagon in DoomWood!

Items Required: Wagon Located (1)

Rewards: 700 Gold, 700 XP, 700 Rep: DoomWood

How To:
Go to DoomWood forest (Code Location: doomwood) and search the entire area to find the Wagon. After that, report back to Michem to get your rewards.

Task 2: Plant Food
Description: First, see if you can recover all 15 crates of rations. The undead don't need food so it only makes sense that the Doomwood Treeants have it. Come back when you've got all the rations.

Items Required: Lightguard Ration (15)

Rewards: 900 Gold, 900 XP, 900 Rep: DoomWood

How To:
Go to DoomWood forest (Code Location: doomwood) and defeat Treeant to get Lightguard Ration. After that, report back to Michem to get your rewards.

Task 3: Supplies Party
Description: The refugees are grateful for the rations but there were building, medical and other supplies in the other crates, not to mention my pack with all my research. They are probably scattered all over DoomWood by now. See if you can recover all the supply crates and see if the undead have my pack. Anyone of them might have taken it!

Items Required: Lightguard Supply Crate (10), Michem's Pack (1)

Rewards: 1100 Gold, 1100 XP, 1100 Rep: DoomWood

How To:
Go to DoomWood forest (Code Location: doomwood) and defeat any enemies to get Michem's Pack and Lightguard Supply Crate. After that, report back to Michem to get your rewards.

Task 4: Copious Notes
Description: DRAT! My pack is here but the notes I brought from Swordhaven's Library are gone! This is disasterous! That means that the undead know about the KEYSTONE! Quickly, take back all 10 pages of notes from the undead of DoomWood!

Items Required: Page of Notes (10)

Rewards: 1300 Gold, 1300 XP, 1300 Rep: DoomWood

How To:
Go to DoomWood forest (Code Location: doomwood) and defeat Doomwood Soldier, Doomwood Bonemunche or Doomwood Ectomancer to get Page of Notes. After that, report back to Michem to get your rewards.

After that, Michem open a secret passage to LightGuard Keep's Catacombs and told you to find the LightGuard KeyStone.

TALK TO MICHEM

Intro: To get to the room where the Keystone is supposed to rest, my notes say you will need to get past the Guardian Sprites that patrol the halls. They can only sense movement, so YOU MUST STAND STILL WHEN THEY PASS OVER YOU or else they will remove you from the catacombs. Once the sprites passes by you can walk again. Good luck.

Task 5: Lightguard Keystone
Description: Now you know what is at stake. Head into the secret passage, make your way pass the sprites set to guard the keystone. If they pass over you while you are moving, you will be ejected from the catacombs so move carefully.

Once you have located the Keystone, please return to me!

Items Required: Keystone Located (1)

Rewards: 1500 Gold, 1500 XP, 1500 Rep: DoomWood

How To:
Enter the secret passage and pass through the Guardian Sprites at each room. The Guardian Sprites will move in pattern. Examine the pattern and you will be easily avoid them. If you manage to pass them, search the entire area to find the Keystone location. After that, report back to Michem to get your rewards.

Task 6: Defend Lightguard Keep!
Description: Of course, it's the fastest way for the undead to get into the room... ghosts can pass through walls without passing the guardian sprites! You have to get back down there and do whatever you can to defeat that spirit before Lightguard falls!

Items Required: Keystone Defended! (1)

Rewards: 1700 Gold, 1700 XP, 1700 Rep: DoomWood

How To:
Defeat Mysterious Spirit.

After you've managed to defeat the Mysterious Spirit, it told you that he's the Guardian of the Keystone. And whoever defeat him, must replaced him as the Keystone Guardian. Hearing this, Michem agreed to replace you as the Keystone Guardian.

Intro: Thank you for your help, Hero. This is not exactly what I had in mind when I undertook this task but now I can keep the Keystone safe AND continue to watch and record life here in Lightguard Keep. Service is a paladin's life and to give my life to save you and protect this keep makes it all worth it. I regret nothing. Thank you.

Task 7: LightGuard Defender Tokens
Description: I may be a spirit now but it is still my duty to guard Lightguard Keep from the undead of DoomWood. Bring me DoomWood Creature Trophies and I will provide a LightGuard Defender Token. You can use those to buy some items and you MIGHT just earn my armor while you are at it!

Items Required: DoomWood Creature Trophies (10)

Rewards: 500 Gold, 500 XP, 500 Rep: DoomWood, Quest Items (LightGuard Defender Token), Random Quest Rewards (Paladin Loremaster)

How To:
Go to DoomWood forest (Code Location: doomwood) and defeat any enemies to get DoomWood Creature Trophies. After that, report back to Michem to get your rewards.
